The Asian Computing technology convention (ASIAN) sequence was once initiated in 1995 to supply a discussion board for researchers in desktop technology in Asia to satisfy and to advertise interplay with researchers from different areas. the former ?ve meetings have been held, respectively, in Bangkok, Singapore, Kathmandu, Manila, and Phuket. The court cases have been released within the Lecture Notes in desktop technology sequence of Springer-Verlag. This year’s convention (ASIAN2000) attracted sixty one submissions from which 18 papers have been chosen via an digital application committee (PC) assembly. the topics for this year’s convention are: – Logics in computing device technology – facts Mining – Networks and function the main notice speaker for ASIAN2000 is Jean Vuillemin (ENS, France) and the invited audio system are Ramamohanarao Kotagiri (U. Melbourne, Australia) and Alain Jean-Marie (LIRMM, France). We thank them for accepting our - vitation. This year’s convention is subsidized by means of the Asian Institute of expertise (Thailand), INRIA (France), the nationwide collage of Singapore (Singapore), and UNU/IIST (Macau SAR, China). We thank these types of associations for his or her persisted aid of the ASIAN sequence. This year’s convention could be held in Penang, Malaysia. we're a lot obliged to Universiti Sains Malaysia and Penang nation executive for delivering the convention venue and to Dr. Abdullah Zawawi Haji Talib for making the neighborhood preparations. We additionally desire to thank the computer participants and the big variety of referees for thesubstantialworkputinbytheminassessingthesubmittedpapers.

Syntax is arguably the main human-specific element of language. regardless of the proto-linguistic capacities of a few animals, syntax seems to be the final significant evolutionary transition in people that has a few genetic foundation. but what are the weather to a situation which can clarify this sort of transition? during this publication, specialists from linguistics, neurology and neurobiology, cognitive psychology, ecology and evolutionary biology, and laptop modeling deal with this query.

IP translation for IPv4/IPv6 and ICMPv4/ICMPv6 has been carried out and the result is encouraging. In this technique IP header fields are either directly copied, translated or eliminated to suite the version of the IP. However information loss is unavoidable and increase of header length also experienced during the header translation . In this paper we will discuss the performance of IPv6 on Ethernet network layer for KAME FreeBSD dual stack implementation as in the following section.

Concept of CIDR (Classless Inter Domain Routing) has been adopted in formulating the addressing structure, which allows address aggregation with the provider based address format. Addresses had two main portions, which are routing and interface identifiers. The routing identifiers have been further divided to subfields, denoting registries, providers, sub-subscribers and subnets. Route aggregation will limit the router table explosion problem and makes routing even simpler. It is an exciting exercise to evaluate and analyze the multi-feature Internet Protocol for it's performance with above mentioned criterions.
